An Audio Technician is required for the use or operation of any sound equipment at New Harbor Studio.

Audio technicians are available at a rate of $50 per hour.

An Audio-Visual Technician is required when using any audio equipment at New Harbor Studio. The Audio-Visual Technician manages and ensure the high-quality audio aspects of productions. Their role involves handling various audio equipment and processes to capture, enhance, and maintain clear and immersive sound. Here are some key responsibilities of our Audio Technicians:

  1. Sound Setup: Set up and configure audio equipment such as microphones, mixers, amplifiers, and other recording devices to ensure optimal sound quality during productions.
  2. Microphone Placement: Place microphones strategically to capture clear and balanced audio from performers, hosts, or participants.
  3. Recording and Mixing: Operate recording equipment and mix audio tracks to achieve a balanced and polished sound. This includes adjusting levels, equalization, and other audio effects.
  4. Live Sound Reinforcement: If the production involves a live audience or event, the Audio Technician manages live sound reinforcement to ensure that everyone can hear clearly.
  5. Monitoring: Use monitoring equipment to listen to audio feeds in real-time, making adjustments as needed to maintain audio quality throughout the recording or live event.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, such as video technicians, directors, and producers, to coordinate audio aspects with the overall production requirements.
  7. Troubleshooting: Quickly identify and resolve any technical issues related to audio equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to the recording or event.
  8. Post-Production: Collaborate with editors or post-production teams to refine and enhance the audio quality during the editing process.
  9. Sound Effects and Foley: If applicable, create or incorporate sound effects and foley elements to enhance the audio experience of the production.
